People at the Y

The structure of the Caltech Y is actually a dynamic mix of three different groups of people who work together to further the mission of the Y: the Board of Directors, the ExComm, and Y staff.

Board of Directors: The Caltech Y Board of Directors is composed of faculty, JPL and Caltech staff, alumni, students, and community members dedicated to the enhancement of student life. The Board guides the organization and defines the Y's mission and what it strives to accomplish.

ExComm: The Caltech Y Student Executive Committee (ExComm) is comprised of the student members of the Caltech Y Board of Directors. The ExComm are a group of student volunteers who plan, coordinate, and implement the many Y programs and activities. This dedicated group of individuals is at the heart of what the Y is all about—students.

Staff: The Caltech Y staff exists to support the vision and efforts of the Board Of Directors and the ExComm.The staff is comprised of five full-time staff members and one part-time intern.
