The Caltech Y Student Executive Committee (ExComm) meets weekly to plan activities, consider requests for funding, and to monitor programming efforts of the Caltech Y. Meetings are open to any students who are interested in planning events or influencing Caltech Y programming.
The Caltech Y was founded by students, to provide students with leadership development opportunities. The spirit of our founding remains today – to provide opportunities to prepare students to be responsible citizens of the world. The Y seeks to broaden students’ world view, and to raise social, ethical, and cultural awareness through teamwork, community engagement, activism, and leadership. Students play a key role in initiating and organizing each Y event.
