Adventure 101 - Summits in the Air: Peak Bagging with a Ham Radio

Do you love hiking?  How about summitting peaks?  Are you possibly a bit nerdy? (we know the answer to the last one 😊).  "Summits on the Air" is a super fun and very addictive peak bagging game/race you play with a ham radio.  Hike or climb a peak, set up a small transmitter, make 4 two-way contacts, and get points based on the elevation of the peak.  Join us for a broader description of the activity, to learn how to get a ham license, and for show-and-tell with the gear.
