Hollywood Sign Day Hike

Join us on Saturday for a moderately strenuous hike in the Griffith Park area to the iconic Hollywood Sign.  It will be a total of 5.1 miles with 849 feet of elevation gain.  the trail is a little steep by you can get great views of LA from the top!  The trail is mostly uncovered, so you will want to be prepared with plenty of water and a hat/sunscreen.  You must have your own transportation to, and from, the trailhead or carpool with others - group contacts will be provided for those who want to self-organize carpooling.  Look for a confirmation email with more details and logistics.  Sign-ups are first-come-first served.  Email erapapor@caltech.edu if you have questions.
